2 , Current and Under-Construction Project Environmental Protection Status

( 1 ) Exhaust gases

Waste gases from each workshop are collected via closed-loop pipelines. Specifically, the separation process features a sealed operating room equipped with a gas collection system, while the packaging area also has a sealed operating room. Packaging exhaust gases are first treated by the equipment’s built-in baghouse dust collector before being routed into the operating room’s centralized gas collection system. The collected gases are then sent to pre-treatment facilities. Two-stage alkali spray + First-level water spray + Dry filtration , after treatment, it enters the final end-of-pipe treatment facility Zeolite Rotary Concentrator +RTO+ Activated carbon adsorption + Alkali Spray , after treatment, is discharged through the exhaust stack. ( 2 ) Wastewater

The wastewater treatment plant is equipped with a triple-effect evaporator, a high-concentration wastewater pretreatment system, a low-concentration wastewater pretreatment system, and a biochemical system. Notably, the high-concentration wastewater pretreatment system utilizes High-Concentration Adjustment Tank + Air flotation and sedimentation + Iron-carbon micro-electrolysis + Fenton The process involves using a low-concentration wastewater pretreatment system. Low-Concentration Collection Pond + Oil separation The process utilizes a biochemical system. Adjustment + Hydrolytic Acidification + Hydrolysis, Acidification, and Sedimentation + Mixed Oxygen / Aerobic + Secondary settling Craftsmanship.

Project high-salinity process wastewater (high-salinity process wastewater from the West Plant area relies on the existing underground infrastructure between the two plants) PE The pipeline enters the East Factory Area, PE The pipeline is equipped with sleeves and, after being pre-treated by the triple-effect evaporator in the East Plant Area, flows into the high-concentration wastewater pretreatment system of the same area. Meanwhile, low-salt process wastewater and exhaust gas spray wastewater are directed to the high-concentration wastewater pretreatment systems across all plant areas. Equipment rinse water, vacuum system wastewater, laboratory and analytical wastewater, and floor wash water are routed to the low-concentration wastewater pretreatment systems in their respective plant areas. Domestic sewage, on the other hand, first enters a septic tank for preliminary treatment. Finally, the effluent from the pretreatment systems is fed into the biochemical systems of each plant area, where it undergoes further treatment to meet the "Wastewater Discharge Standard for Urban Sewerage Systems." GB/T 31962-2015 ) Table 1 China A After meeting the Class Standard and the influent water quality criteria for the Laiyang Economic Development Zone Wastewater Treatment Plant, the treated effluent—combined with wastewater from the recycling system and the heating system—is discharged into the Qixing River, having first passed through the plant’s treatment process to meet environmental standards.

( 3 ) Solid waste

Currently existing and under-construction projects generate hazardous wastes primarily including distillation kettle residues, filter residues, sediment residues, waste catalysts, and spent adsorbents from various production units. Additionally, waste filter cloths from separation processes, as well as spent activated carbon and other waste materials from exhaust gas treatment facilities, are also produced. UV Lamp tubes, spent zeolite, waste oil from the wastewater treatment plant—including separated oil, sludge (including physicochemical and biochemical sludge), high-concentration residual liquids, distillation residues, concentrated extraction residues, and waste salts—as well as waste packaging materials—are temporarily stored in the hazardous waste storage area and will be entrusted to a qualified disposal unit. General solid wastes, such as spent ion-exchange resins, waste reverse-osmosis membranes, and domestic garbage, are either recycled by the manufacturers or handled through the municipal sanitation department. Wastewater treatment byproduct—recycled sodium sulfate—is not currently listed on the hazardous waste catalog. However, given the potential presence of organic compounds, it is temporarily stored in the hazardous waste area and will also be managed by a qualified disposal unit. It is recommended to treat this material as a suspected hazardous waste. Once such solid waste is generated, its toxicity, corrosiveness, and leachability should be assessed according to national hazardous waste identification standards. Based on these findings, an appropriate disposal method can then be determined—for example, if it qualifies as general industrial solid waste, it could be sent out for comprehensive utilization; if classified as hazardous waste, it must be handled by a licensed disposal facility. Until the identification results are confirmed, the material should continue to be managed and disposed of as hazardous waste.

( 4 ) Noise

Noise sources from existing and ongoing projects have been equipped with noise isolation, vibration reduction, and other mitigation measures, ensuring that daytime and nighttime noise levels at the plant boundary meet the "Environmental Noise Emission Standard for Industrial Enterprise Boundaries."
