Big news! Shandong Province has announced its list of Gazelle Enterprises (in the nurturing phase), and Shenghua Technology has successfully made the cut.

According to the Shandong Provincial SME Public Service Platform website, entrusted by the Shandong Provincial Bureau of Small and Medium-sized Enterprises, the Shandong Provincial Department of Finance, and the Jinan Branch of the People's Bank of China, the Shandong Torch Productivity Promotion Center has assembled a team of experts to independently review and evaluate the project materials submitted by cities across Shandong Province for their recommended Gazelle enterprises. As a result, the first batch of Shandong Gazelle Enterprises (under cultivation) for 2018 has been officially announced for public review. Our company has been successfully selected!

Eligibility criteria for Gazelle companies:
Take industrial enterprises as an example: For companies with total revenues between 20 million and 100 million yuan in the previous year, the compound annual growth rate of revenue or profit over the past two years must reach at least 30%. For enterprises with total revenues ranging from 100 million to 400 million yuan in the previous year, the compound annual growth rate of either revenue or profit over the past two years should be 25% or higher. And for companies with total revenues of 400 million yuan or more in the previous year, the compound annual growth rate of either revenue or profit over the past two years must meet or exceed 20%.
Companies that have maintained an average R&D investment intensity of over 2.5% in the past two years; enterprises recognized as provincial-level or higher Enterprise Technology Centers, Engineering Technology Research Centers, or those designated as "One Company, One Technology" initiatives; or firms equipped with provincial-level or higher Engineering Research and Development Centers, Engineering Laboratories, and Key Laboratories; companies holding at least 2 authorized invention patents or more than 4 software copyrights; and organizations that have spearheaded or actively participated in drafting one or more international or national standards.

According to the comprehensive development plan for Gazelle enterprises formulated by the Shandong Provincial Bureau of Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises, 300 Gazelle enterprises will be identified and nurtured during the 2017–2019 action plan period. Throughout this period, the provincial finance will provide annual policy support—aligned with the budget—covering areas such as R&D in technology, innovation platform development, credit enhancement, government-guided fund investments, pre-IPO incubation, and tax incentives. With this successful inclusion among Gazelle enterprises, the company is poised to take innovation-driven growth to an even higher level.

Recently, the Shandong Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology announced the list of pilot enterprises for digital transformation among SMEs in Shandong Province for 2024. Our company was successfully selected, marking a new chapter in the city’s efforts to drive digital transformation among SMEs. These pilot enterprises are chosen by the provincial department as part of its initiative to accelerate the digital transformation of SMEs across the province. Specifically, they focus on high-quality SMEs operating in key manufacturing sectors and critical links within industrial chains, serving as models for digital transformation. By cultivating these pilot enterprises, the department aims to further nurture and strengthen the digital economy while boosting the high-quality, accelerated growth of the industrial sector. Since the beginning of this year, our company has proactively prioritized initiatives aimed at fostering and expanding the digital economy, aligning with the deployment plans set forth by the Yantai Municipal Bureau of Industry and Information Technology. Taking Yantai’s selection as a pilot city for SME digital transformation as a strategic opportunity, we’ve concentrated on our core business areas, vigorously promoting activities such as enterprise digital diagnostics, integration of IT with industrialization management systems, and participation in SME digital transformation pilots. We’ve also deepened our efforts in nurturing businesses, disseminating relevant policies, and advocating for support from higher authorities, while actively implementing the "Intelligent Transformation and Digital Transition" project to seize the momentum of digital transformation and speed up our own transition journey.
