2018 Year 12 Month 9 This morning, the launch and promotion event for the "Shandong Laiyang Chemical Industry Park," co-organized by our company, was held grandly at the Jinshan Hotel in Laiyang City. The event attracted prominent guests, including Yang Ting, Secretary-General of the Chemical Park Working Committee of the China Petroleum and Chemical Industry Federation; Yuan Tong, former Vice Chairman of the China Electronic Materials Industry Association; and Yang Huai, Vice Dean of the School of Engineering at Peking University. 80 More than a dozen experts, scholars, and entrepreneurs from China and abroad attended the event. The meeting was chaired by Mu Xin, Mayor of Laiyang City, while Wang Zhong, Member of the Standing Committee of Yantai Municipal Party Committee and Executive Deputy Mayor, and Li Shenggang, Secretary of the Laiyang Municipal Party Committee, delivered speeches respectively.
At the park's launch event, renowned experts and scholars from home and abroad delivered keynote lectures on topics such as the current status and future development of chemical parks, the recycling of hazardous waste resources, and the growth trends in the display materials industry. Meanwhile, Li Shenggang, Secretary of the Municipal Party Committee, highlighted Laiyang Chemical Park's investment climate, its foreign-investment attraction policies, and the advantages of its emerging industrial clusters, presenting them to both domestic and international experts and business leaders.
At the subsequent signing ceremony, Wang Zuopeng, Chairman of the company, jointly signed agreements with representatives from Shanghai Xingke High-Purity Solvents Co., Ltd., Shanghai Yonghong Industrial Group Chemical Technology Co., Ltd., the School of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering at Yantai University, and Qingdao Siwei Chemical Co., Ltd. Wang Zhong, Member of the Standing Committee of the Yantai Municipal Party Committee and Executive Deputy Mayor, also attended the event. Yang Ting, Secretary-General of the Chemical Industry Park Working Committee of the China Petroleum and Chemical Industry Federation, jointly unveiled the plaque for the "Shandong Laiyang Chemical Industry Park."

Recently, the Shandong Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology announced the list of pilot enterprises for digital transformation among SMEs in Shandong Province for 2024. Our company was successfully selected, marking a new chapter in the city’s efforts to drive digital transformation among SMEs. These pilot enterprises are chosen by the provincial department as part of its initiative to accelerate the digital transformation of SMEs across the province. Specifically, they focus on high-quality SMEs operating in key manufacturing sectors and critical links within industrial chains, serving as models for digital transformation. By cultivating these pilot enterprises, the department aims to further nurture and strengthen the digital economy while boosting the high-quality, accelerated growth of the industrial sector. Since the beginning of this year, our company has proactively prioritized initiatives aimed at fostering and expanding the digital economy, aligning with the deployment plans set forth by the Yantai Municipal Bureau of Industry and Information Technology. Taking Yantai’s selection as a pilot city for SME digital transformation as a strategic opportunity, we’ve concentrated on our core business areas, vigorously promoting activities such as enterprise digital diagnostics, integration of IT with industrialization management systems, and participation in SME digital transformation pilots. We’ve also deepened our efforts in nurturing businesses, disseminating relevant policies, and advocating for support from higher authorities, while actively implementing the "Intelligent Transformation and Digital Transition" project to seize the momentum of digital transformation and speed up our own transition journey.
