To steadily advance the company's refined management practices, from December 15 to 22, 2018, Chairman Wang Zuopeng and Executive General Manager Wang Jianwen traveled to Japan for an inspection and training program.

Chairman Wang Zuopeng and his delegation visited Toyota's Tsutsumi Plant, Toyota Dojo, Kashiwagi Kogyo Co., Ltd., AVEX Co., Ltd., and KYOCERA Corporation—including its holding company, KYOCERA Communication Systems Co., Ltd. (KCCS)—and also met with key leaders of relevant Japanese organizations.

During this training program in Japan, participants gained deeper insights and profound reflections on advanced Japanese business practices—including Toyota’s TPS, JIT systems, Kyocera’s Amoeba Management model, and the management philosophies of Kazuo Inamori—through factory tours, classroom sessions, and interactive workshops. The program also highlighted the concepts of employee-driven management and continuous improvement, as well as cutting-edge ideas in management intelligence and production automation. Through this learning experience, attendees developed a clearer understanding of the cultural depth behind Japanese companies’ management approaches, such as their century-old commitment to craftsmanship excellence, their strong sense of corporate responsibility toward society, their mission to give back to the community, and their dedication to nurturing talent within the workforce. These cultural pillars left a lasting and deeply impressive impression on company leaders.

At the training workshop lecture, Professor Motonari Yamada from Nagoya University delivered a special session on the meticulous management and operational model of Japanese companies. Additionally, experts such as Mr. Naoki Hori, a senior trainer from KYOCERA Corporation’s Consulting Division, and Mr. Shiro Yanagida, a senior engineer from Toyota Motor Corporation, provided detailed insights into Toyota Management and Kazuo Inamori’s Amoeba Management System, respectively.

During the 7-day learning and training program, company leaders joined entrepreneurs from various industries—both domestic and international—for collaborative learning, insightful discussions, and timely reflections. This not only deepened mutual understanding and awareness but also fostered a network of partnerships within the company’s business domains, laying a solid foundation for the company’s future journey toward refined operations, global expansion, and sustained high-quality growth.

The company has been selected as a pilot enterprise for digital transformation among SMEs in Shandong Province.

Recently, the Shandong Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology announced the list of pilot enterprises for digital transformation among SMEs in Shandong Province for 2024. Our company was successfully selected, marking a new chapter in the city’s efforts to drive digital transformation among SMEs. These pilot enterprises are chosen by the provincial department as part of its initiative to accelerate the digital transformation of SMEs across the province. Specifically, they focus on high-quality SMEs operating in key manufacturing sectors and critical links within industrial chains, serving as models for digital transformation. By cultivating these pilot enterprises, the department aims to further nurture and strengthen the digital economy while boosting the high-quality, accelerated growth of the industrial sector. Since the beginning of this year, our company has proactively prioritized initiatives aimed at fostering and expanding the digital economy, aligning with the deployment plans set forth by the Yantai Municipal Bureau of Industry and Information Technology. Taking Yantai’s selection as a pilot city for SME digital transformation as a strategic opportunity, we’ve concentrated on our core business areas, vigorously promoting activities such as enterprise digital diagnostics, integration of IT with industrialization management systems, and participation in SME digital transformation pilots. We’ve also deepened our efforts in nurturing businesses, disseminating relevant policies, and advocating for support from higher authorities, while actively implementing the "Intelligent Transformation and Digital Transition" project to seize the momentum of digital transformation and speed up our own transition journey. Looking ahead, our company will fully leverage the示范和引领作用 of these pilot enterprises, fostering deeper integration between the digital economy and the real economy, and ultimately contributing to the high-quality development of our enterprise’s economy.
